Grief Comes in Waves 🌊

My therapist once told me to schedule time to cry. Because if I didn't, it would just live on my face all day, a constant stream I couldn't control. Nine years without my dad and Father's Day still brings the waves crashing in. But here's what I've learned, grief isn't something to fix or push through. Grief is just love with nowhere to go. It's a representation of how deeply you loved someone. So today I'm letting myself feel it. All of it. If you're missing someone today, you're not alone. 🕯️
